Celerant designed and delivered its first training course on “Innovative Design for Engineering Applications” in support of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Academy of Program, Project and Engineering Leadership (APPEL) at the Kennedy Space Center in Orlando, Florida.
NASA APPEL tasked Celerant to design and instruct a course that provides engineers with an understanding of the tools and processes that can be used to increase innovative thinking and support the translation of those ideas into effective, yet flexible design solutions.
NASA’s ASK (Academy Sharing Knowledge) magazine recently published an article about the innovative training course designed and instructed by Celerant: The Quest for Good Ideas
Celerant’s efforts at the CDC are focused on a wide range of critical management issues, including:
- Project Officer training and compliance
- Cost optimization of Fellowship programs
- Budget analysis, planning, and tracking tools and processes
- Long-term long term strategy for the Office of the Director
- Organizational realignment strategy
- Leadership development programs
- Training needs assessments and processes
- Training curriculum assessments
These issues pose implementation and sustainability challenges and affect multiple, geographically dispersed organizations throughout the diverse CDC Centers. Celerant is employing its proprietary MCRS® to identify and improve business process issues that significantly impact Agency operations. These improvements will help the CDC free up necessary resources that can be redirected to address critical public health needs around the globe.
